Biography

Dr. Vimal Joshi has appointed as a Principal at Shri R. K. Parikh Arts and Science College, Petlad in 2004. He received his Doctorate degree in 2001 under the guidance of Dr. M.J. Joshi in Solid State Physics and Materials Science from Saurashtra University Rajkot. He has published Ten research papers in journals. More than Twenty research papers were presented at different conferences of national and international. He attended more than forty academic and non-academic events. He has visited USA and Singapore to participate international conference. He is a recognized Ph.D. Guide of Physics at Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan and Gujarat University and guiding four students for their Ph. D. degree. He was Member of Board of Studies in Physics at Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan as well Gujarat University, Ahmedabad. He is appointed as a member on Editorial Board, for International Journal of Applied Physics, International Journal of Opto-Electronics and Optical Technology, Crystal Structure Theory and Applications, Scientific Research He has appointed as member on Technical Programme Committee (TPC), International Conference on Soft Computing Techniques and Engineering Application (SCTEA 2013) [http://www.icsctea.org] organized during September 25-27, 2013 at Kunming China as well as on Technical/Editorial Board, The Second International Conference on Advances in Applied Science and Environmental Technology - (ASET 2015) [http://www.aset. theired.org] held during August 28-29, 2015 at Bangkok, Thailand. At present he is a Member, Faculty of Science and University Court, Gujarat University, Ahmedabad and Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidyanagar. He is a Life Member of Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT) and Association of All India College Principals (AICP). He has experience to organize more than twenty academic seminar, workshop as well as non-academic events.
