Biography

Zuzana Pokorna has completed her PhD from Masaryk University at the Institute of Scientific Instruments of the Czech Academy of Sciences. She won the prize for Best Doctoral Thesis Using Microscopical Methods bestowed by the Czech and Slovak Microscopical Society in 2013 with her PhD thesis employing the Scanning Low Energy Electron Microscopy. She works in the group of dr. Ilona Mullerova who was awarded the national Scientific Inventiveness prize for the development of this method.
